PEARL SIMPATIA CRAI  TEAM TOURNAMENT   -    2005

For the third consecutive year, the Council of Tennis Club Kordin is pleased to inform all members that, the Simpatia Crai Team Tournament will, this year,  be held between the 19^th of July and 16^th October. This tournament is being sponsored by “Pearl Self Service” of Mimosa Street, Guardamangia.

This tournament will be played on two rounds on a Round Robin basis.  Each match will consist of two sets and one point will be given for every set won .The first four teams with the highest number of points will pass on to the Semi-Finals. The first placed team will play against the team in the fourth place and the second placed team plays against the third team in the table.

 Juniors under the age of 15 years will be placed in a separate category but will be part of the team. These youngsters cannot be promoted to play in the senior category.

  Between 19^th July and 29^th September matches will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays and between 1^st and the 16^th of October on Saturdays and Sundays afternoons. Those players who are unable to play on these days/dates are kindly asked not to apply for participation in this tournament.

Players who scratch or give two or more ‘Walkovers’ without valid reason will be asked to appear before the ‘Board of Discipline’

 Members are hereby informed that applications for participation in the Tournament are to be  made “ON LINE” through the Club’s Web Site  ‘ www.tennisclubkordin.com’ by not later than the 26^th June.

 Presentation of trophies will be held during a Social Evening organized for the occasion by the organizing Committee. The date of this activity will be announced later.
